The 5 Best Photography Studios in Glasgow to Capture Artistry and Special Moments

Included Equipment: Your budget won’t have to take a massive hit if you have to rent gear. We looked for spaces that include basic setups in their standard fees to keep your overheads low.

Physical Accessibility: It isn’t ideal to haul heavy gear up multiple flights of stairs during production day. We prioritised studios with round-level access and parking so you know exactly how difficult load-in will be.

Turnaround Speed: Fast deliverables matter when you’re rushing to meet a deadline. We evaluated how quickly these providers can get the final edited files or physical prints done.

Pricing Transparency: Hidden fees for standard backdrops or basic retouching turn a cheap booking into an expensive surprise. We checked their prices to see who states their costs clearly upfront.

It isn’t ideal to shoot a professional campaign in a cramped living room. It can end up with knocked-over light stands and a lot of frustration for the photographer and model.

If you want to skip the DIY headache, you need a space that fits your vision and budget. To give you a head start, we rounded up the best photography studios in Glasgow, so you won’t have to worry about anything else.

Check them out below, whether you’re planning for a family portrait or a commercial shoot. It’s time to visit a place that meets your standards!

Contact: 0141 332 4683 | [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Venart Photography has been operating in the city centre since 1985, bringing decades of practical experience to every shoot. They’ve been a trusted spot in Central Bath Street.

They ensure that their digital and hard copies meet global legal requirements, so passport and visa photos will pass checks on the first attempt. These important pictures even come with a 30-minute turnaround for emergencies.

This space is also a solid option for affordable graduation shots. Their fees start at a reasonable £15 for individuals, and an additional £12 if you need to rent an academic gown.

We like that you can choose from high-resolution files for printing or lower-tier versions for quick sharing, offering flexible delivery tailored to your needs.

The downside is that digital files are conditional. You must first order at least £30 in physical prints before you can buy them.

Cons

Best mummy and daughter photoshoot ever

My daughter and I came to Pearl and Plum Photography today for our first ever mummy and daughter photo shoot. As soon as we walked into the Studio Carli was welcoming and put us straight at ease. Even my daughter who is normally very shy. Carli’s warm and friendly manner when working with us proved to make our experience even better. I was emotional during the photo shoot as my daughter was so happy and having so much fun as was I. Upon leaving the studio my daughter said “this was the best photoshoot ever” and I have to agree.

Amazing all-rounder photography team

A wonderful studio and an amazing team who work great with both children and adults. They work both well on sight in the studio and can take their background and kit anywhere you require and will always get the perfect shot. An amazing all rounder team from events, family pictures and wedding photography.

Fantastic cosplay photography experience

This was a FANTASTIC experience. The owner Nick is so lovely and incredibly helpful and professional. This was my first time using a studio space and he walked my photographer and I through all the lighting fixtures and introduced us to the space really well. The space features a changing room, makeup counters & amazing professional level lights that are included free with your booking. The prices were insanely good and everyone felt comfortable shooting here! The studio has ample free parking and is easy to find. This space works perfectly for photography of any type, we used it for cosplay!

Smooth and accommodating studio shoot

We had such a great experience shooting at Cove One. The team were incredibly friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They struck the perfect balance of giving us the space to get on with things, while always being on hand to help whenever needed.

The studio itself is a really lovely space: plenty of room to shoot, work and take breaks without ever feeling on top of one another, which made a big difference across the day.

We were able to achieve everything we set out to, and the whole experience felt really smooth from start to finish.

Excellent professional studio with infinity wall

Truly excellent studio with so much ceiling height and space and, of course, the infinity wall. My clients love the makeup counter and I love how professional and clean it is. Owner is super helpful and great to deal with too.
