The 5 Best Chiropractors in Glasgow Making a Huge Difference!

  • Proper registration and safety standards - We looked for GCC-registered chiropractors with clear consent, good screening, and red-flag checks.
  • Clear pricing and no hard-sell plans - Are there upfront fees for first visit vs follow-ups, sensible care plans, and easy cancellation?
  • Results-driven assessment - Are there thorough history and movement tests, explanation of what’s going on, and progression tracing (pain, range, and function)?
  • Right-fit expertise and vibe - Are they experienced with various issues (sports, pregnancy, and paediatrics), good communication, and do you feel listened to, not rushed?

I’m an athlete, and lately, I’ve been feeling my hips argue with me with every sprint. That’s how I ended up looking for chiropractors and orthopaedic specialists in Glasgow. For this list, we’re focusing on the first.

Good thing I don’t need a GP referral to see a chiropractor and get adjusted here; I can book straight in, since they’re primary healthcare professionals. Here are some of the best ones I found that can pop your joints, minus the pain!

How much does a chiropractor charge in Glasgow?

In Glasgow, an initial chiropractic consultation typically costs £70 to £100. This usually covers your first assessment, and sometimes a first treatment, depending on the clinic.
After that, regular adjustment visits typically cost around £38 to £45 per session.
If you’re going more than a couple of times, many clinics offer discounted blocks or care plans, which can bring the per-visit cost down.

I have to admit that my recent back pain was almost at that book-an-orthopaedic stage, but Glasgow Spinal Care felt like the smarter first stop. They offered me a proper assessment, clear explanations, and no drama.

They’re GCC-registered and tied in with the British Chiropractic Association, which is exactly the kind of box-ticking I need when I’m wobbly. They also lean into a Gonstead-style, targeted approach that’s built to find the culprit and fix it.

I like that they regularly treat sports injuries, plus offer family and paediatric care, which is handy when I’m training and need to tend to my mum’s aches and pains. They have a very results-driven vibe, which suits my busy lifestyle.

Price-wise, it lands in the Glasgow ballpark, starting at around £70 for an initial and at £38 for follow-ups. Plus, they advertise an initial-visit promo that’s normally £100 and bundles a consultation, exam, and an adjustment!

But personally, their big win is the convenience they offer. They’ve got two Glasgow locations (West End and Rutherglen), and they explicitly flag easy access to parking and public transport. It’s easy to show up to these spots when you’re walking like you’re folded in half.

That said, if you’re looking for a very niche technique list or loads of on-site bells and whistles, you may need to ask directly for booking.

Pros

  • Fast results-style care for pain and mobility issues
  • Two handy locations with easy access
  • Proper credentials
  • Offers sports and family care

Cons

  • Not open on weekends
  • Not ideal for those seeking gentler approaches
  • Uneven hours can clash with 9–5 jobs

Dr Morris has been able to release so many sore spots

I’ve used this practice for a few years now, on and off. The previous chiropractor was brilliant, but Dr Morris has been able to release so many sore spots that many previous doctors have failed to release from the very first treatment. I finally feel like I am healing, instead of treating symptoms. Always a lovely, warm, personalised yet professional experience from staff when entering and leaving. Bonus points for being so accommodating when I’ve had to bring my son along for my appointments, and the extremely helpful advice regarding my concerns for him when he was less than compliant with having his own assessment done. Thank you!

Ross was able to ease the pain I was having

I started seeing Ross after seeing another chiropractor for a few months, and my symptoms weren’t subsiding. In my first session, Ross was able to ease the pain I was having in my neck and head. Each session, I’m a bit more mobile and now visiting for maintenance. Would highly recommend.

My sister is an office worker, and her back has started behaving like it’s been trapped in a swivel chair since 2009. She tried Southside Chiropractic, and her first visit felt properly clinical with thorough screening and a calm, safety-first vibe.

She was impressed with how methodical the team was. They ran postural photos, MyoVision sEMG muscle scans, and even heart-rate variability checks, then revisited them to track progress instead of doing guesswork.

They’re both all-ages and perinatal-friendly, with tests described as non-invasive and safe for children and pregnant clients.

The practitioners have clear backgrounds, too; Dara has a Master’s from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, and Amy has a Master’s from McTimoney College of Chiropractic. My sister felt she was assessed by people with proper training, and wasn’t being experimented on.

Pricing sat within Glasgow averages, and she reckons this clinic is a solid pick for Southside locals who want data-led assessments.

Do note that they’re closed on weekends, which is brutal if you’re only free when Friday hits, and post-work stress is making your posture look like a shrimp’s.

Pros

  • Data-led posture checks
  • All-ages and perinatal-friendly consults
  • Strong practitioner background mix

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Testing-heavy first visit (up to an hour!)

Amy has really helped improve my posture

I’ve had such a great experience at Southside Chiropractic. Amy has really helped improve my posture and relieve my back pain. I’ve noticed a huge difference. She is extremely professional and very good at what she does, and she always takes the time to explain things clearly. She’s also super nice and made me feel completely comfortable from the very first visit. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I’m recommending this practice to everyone I know

Dara has cured my recurring headaches. I was getting frequent headaches – several a week. I’ve not had one since I first attended the practice 5 weeks ago. The tests the team do are so thorough, and the treatments are different and more targeted than what I’ve experienced anywhere else. I’m recommending this practice to everyone I know.

I have a teammate who’s a performance-first type, but a niggle had him moving like his hamstring was negotiating its notice. He tried ChiroProActive, and his first consult was properly methodical (questions and movement tests, and treatment/exercises).

He said it felt more like rehab planning than random cracking (his words, not mine!). It helps that the clinic leans into sports performance and minor sports injury work, and they talked a lot about finding his movement limiters.

He loves how they pair hands-on care with sport-specific progressive exercises. They’re also happy to work alongside the rest of an athlete’s support team, instead of acting like they’re the only grown-ups in the room.

They’re refreshingly specific about pricing, too: £65 for an initial consult (treatment included as appropriate), with follow-ups at around £47 for standard, £60 for extended, and £35 for maintenance, plus package options.

It has a city-centre setup, so it was easy for him to slot in around work or training without trekking across town. They also offer remote video consultations, which he found handy when he’s in mid-season training and time-poor.

However, because it’s a city-centre suite, you’ll want to plan ahead for parking/traffic if you’re driving in at peak times. It’s not a free car park type of clinic, sadly.

Pros

  • Athlete-first programming
  • Menu-style follow-ups
  • Remote video consultations available
  • Upfront pricing

Cons

  • Parking/traffic can be a pain
  • Not positioned as a family/pregnancy clinic

He finished with a treatment that restored full movement to my neck

I took the four-hour bus journey up from Campbeltown to visit Steven for an appointment. This turned out to be an excellent decision. He was not only generous with his time and knowledge, but also finished with a treatment that restored full movement to my neck. Thank you again.

He gave me a programme of treatment to improve my back longer term

Steven has worked nothing short of miracles for my back over a few short visits. As well as an immediate improvement, he also gave a programme of treatment to improve my back in the long term. I cannot recommend him enough.

When her scoliosis pain had her walking like a geriatric even on short distances, my best friend booked Reliable Spine straightaway. They earned her trust for being GCC-registered and for specifically positioning themselves as scoliosis and posture specialists.

What makes them different is their kit-and-plan approach. They talked to her about non-surgical scoliosis management, posture correction, and serious disc-injury care, plus tools like the Raphael 707 decompression table and ultrasound-guided dry needling when appropriate.

They list initial consultations at £100 (from 60 minutes), but they often run a new-patient offer. My friend did note that decompression and rehab packages can change the maths, so she suggests asking Reliable Spine for follow-up rates.

She likes that they’re open Monday to Saturday, so it’s practically for a mostly pain-free week. She recommends this clinic to those looking for pros on complex spine issues, especially scoliosis, with a structured approach.

The downside is that they’re closed on Sundays and have a 24-hour cancellation policy that’s strict if life (or flare-ups) get in the way.

Pros

  • Scoliosis and posture specialist
  • Raphael 707 3D spinal decompression
  • Scoliosis bracing offered
  • Open 6 days a week

Cons

  • Strict 24-hour cancellation policy
  • Premium-priced initial consultation
  • Not open on Sundays

I had significantly less pain when I walked out

I went in after pinching my piriformis nerve while running. I had so much pain shooting down my leg. Morris did an assessment of my body weight distribution and posture before cracking my back and hips. He also recommended workouts to incorporate into my routine for a stronger back and knees. I had significantly less pain when I walked out of his office. I would highly recommend Reliable Spine.

Morris is a fantastic chiropractor

Morris is a fantastic chiropractor. Very professional and client-focused on helping improve not just symptoms but overall quality of life. Could not recommend more highly!

It took us a while to realise that when Da complained about having pain in the neck, he wasn’t talking about us, his kids. We booked him at West End Chiropractic, and the calm, clinical vibe made him relax a bit.

We appreciated the proper assessment flow, as they talked about his detailed health history, then did postural and neurological exams before mapping out his care. He liked that they tried to understand what his body’s been shouting about instead of prescribing something generic.

Their sweet spot is on neck pain, back pain, and headaches, with a big emphasis on posture and stress being part of the picture (picture my da hunched over like a bass clef).

The initial consult was fine with him at around £70, as it’s still within Glasgow averages.

Now, he recommends them to friends his age who are West End locals, too. He describes them as “sensible care” minus the orthopaedic bother.

That said, they are closed on Wednesdays and have very specific hours, so scheduling a pensioner’s calendar for follow-ups can take a bit of juggling.

Pros

  • Postural and neurological exams are baked in
  • Convenient West End location
  • Clear care plan framing
  • Later clinic hours on certain days

Cons

  • Closed on Wednesdays and weekends
  • Parking can be challenging on weekdays
