No matter how many new bits and bobs I bought, nothing seemed to fix the problem. Turns out, shoving a trendy lamp into an already chaotic space doesn’t magically make it stylish.

Let me tell you about the company that revamped my flat, Anne Interiors. Founded by Anne Elliott, an interior designer with 20 years of experience, they bring a unique blend of Parisian elegance, Scandinavian cosiness, and wabi-sabi charm to their designs.
Since I had zero experience with interior design, I opted for their full-service interior design. Their team handled everything, including sourcing furniture, coordinating contractors, and ironing out any issues.
If full-service isn’t your thing, Anne also offers 3D interior designs, perfect for DIY renovations. And for those outside Glasgow, her e-design consultations provide expert guidance remotely, with no in-person meetings needed.
Sadly, one issue I had was their availability. It took me a while to book a consultation due to the high demand for their services.

If you’re looking to spruce up your space with a bit of personality and a focus on sustainability, Little Casa Interiors is a solid option.
One of the best things about them is their bespoke furniture. Instead of trying to make store-bought pieces fit your space, they’ll design something that actually suits it.
And what’s nice is that they’re big on eco-friendly materials and repurposing old furniture where possible, making them a decent pick if you’re trying to be more mindful about waste.
I also appreciate that they offer 3D spatial planning, which is brilliant if you struggle to picture how things will look before committing.
That said, there are some things to keep in mind. Since they’re a smaller outfit, you might need to book ahead, and if you’re on a tight budget, their custom designs can lean towards the pricier side.

Elder Interiors is a relatively new interior design company, but they’ve already built a solid range of services. They’re big on flexibility, making them a good pick for both DIY-ers and those who want the full service.
One of their handier features is their 3D designs and service drawings, which let you see the plan before committing. They also offer a satisfaction guarantee, so you can request modifications until you’re happy with the final design.
But if you already have a personal design mapped out, they can simply supply the materials and furniture, or handle installation so you don’t need to hire your own tradesperson.
That said, they’re still fairly new, and their focus is mainly on kitchens and bathrooms. You’ll probably want to consider other options first if your project falls outside of that.
