Best Party Planners in Glasgow Making Every Event Special
I’ve reached that stage where another expensive, fine-dining “celebration” just feels like paying a lot just to sit still and talk quietly. I enjoy those on dates, mind, but I’ve realised that the real magic comes from a well-planned party that feels like a real occasion, not a tasting menu endurance test.
A reliable party planner in Glasgow knows how to handle the heavy logistics like venues, catering, and timelines. There are also good event planners who can do visual styling with balloon installs, backdrops, and light-up numbers for ambience.
Glasgow is a city that knows how to party, from kiddie soft-play setups to extravagant wedding receptions. Here’s a shortlist of those who understand local venues, reliable Scottish suppliers, and who know how to create unforgettable parties.
How much does a party planner charge in Glasgow?
In Glasgow, a full-service party planner’s fee typically starts at £1,500, or around 10 to 15% of the total event budget, covering venues, suppliers, timelines, and on-the-day coordination.
If you’re mainly after the look, event-styling only (balloon arches, backdrops, props, and light-up numbers) usually starts at around £300, depending on scale and customisation.
For families, kids’ party packages are more budget-friendly at £180 to £350 for roughly two hours of entertainment or soft play. However, there are also venue deposits required by many Glasgow venues that require significant upfront payments well before the event.
1. Events by Anna H

Address: 38 Queen Street
Contact: +447583631384
Business hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM–4 PM
Events by Anna H came onto my radar when my baby sister decided she wanted her wedding to smell as good as it looked, right down to the perfectly chosen scented candles. From the start, it was clear that this is a design-led planner, obsessed with most details most people wouldn’t even think to ask for.
It’s ideal for weddings, corporate events, and styled celebrations and is not a logistics-only outfit. Anna’s strength is turning vague Pinterest energy into something that actually works in real Glasgow venues.
My sister’s wedding had a vibe that’s modern, elegant, and quietly luxe (just the way she liked it!). There wasn’t anything shouty or overdone, thanks to cohesive colour palettes, custom styling elements, and a calm behind-the-scenes confidence that every guest felt.
Our family loved that the studio focuses more on bespoke builds and styling than ticking boxes on a spreadsheet. There are no flashy showrooms to wander into, but the portfolio speaks loudly enough, and the vendor coordination is tight when it needs to be.
That said, that level of detail doesn’t suit rushed or bargain-hunters, and it’s not the cheapest option if you only need basic coordination. If you want quick, off-the-shelf decor rather than thoughtful design, this may feel like overkill.

The behind-the-scenes has run smoothly
I’m a Glasgow florist, and I’ve worked on two events with Anna this year. They’ve both been such seamless events, and the behind-the-scenes has run smoothly. Anna seems like an excellent problem solver, always creates a calm atmosphere and is efficient at making decisions. She’s also just a really friendly and approachable person. Hopefully, we’ll get to work on lots more events together! Sarah, from Rook Botanics.

Anna made us feel like she had everything under control
We were on the fence for ages about whether we needed an on-the-day coordinator for our wedding – our venue was very DIY, but we’re both pretty organised people. In the end, we decided to book Anna, and my god, was she worth every penny. From the very start, Anna made us feel like she had everything under control, and this meant that we could fully relax and just enjoy every moment of our day. She was simply incredible – from the last-minute wet-weather plan 30 mins before the ceremony, to the small details such as lighting candles. And who knows how we would have bustled the dress without her! 10/10 one of the best suppliers we booked – we couldn’t have done it without her.

2. 88 Events

Address: 157-159 Woodville Street
Contact: +441414452288
Business hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.30 AM–5 PM
For my workplace’s gala event, we turned to 88 Events because we’re aware that their attention to detail is very Glasgow. We handed them our gala brief, and somehow, they cared about our napkin’s colour as much as the AV schedule!
They’re tried-and-tested for corporate events, large-scale galas, brand activations, and formal celebrations like weddings. They’re a logistics heavyweight with strong design sensibilities and can manage timelines, suppliers, and room flow.
There was nothing fussy, cheesy, or overly theatrical with our gala, even though we had to dress up for it. The team did clean styling, sleek, coordinated palettes, and thoughtful touches that felt expensive without screaming for attention.
There isn’t a showroom for us to browse through balloons and backdrops, but their strength lies in actual execution involving big rooms, big crowds, and zero chaos. Rather than bespoke prop-building, they excel at complex setups.
However, their approach may feel too corporate if you’re planning a playful kiddie party or a heavily themed birthday. Design flair is strong but secondary only to structure, so pure decor-led clients may want something more styling-focused.

They were so helpful in the lead-up to the wedding
88Events provided the tablecloths and napkins for our wedding, and they looked amazing! They were exactly what we wanted and looked beautiful. They were so helpful in the lead-up to the wedding, and they arrived the day before the wedding as requested. I’d definitely recommend them!

88Events were amazing from beginning to end
88Events were amazing from beginning to end. Upon enquiry, they sent out samples swiftly, and the communication from Kasia was amazing. We were really pleased that the minimum spend was only as low as we were only having a small wedding. The trestle tablecloths and napkins (white from the essential linen range) were of brilliant quality and arrived perfectly clean. It was easy to return the hired linen as they were picked up by courier the following Monday. All in all, a fantastic company to do business with!

3. Make Believe Events

Address: Unit A, North Trading Estate
Contact: +448009989258
Business hours: By appointment
Make Believe Events came in clutch when our community club fundraiser was shaping up to look like…well, a community hall. Once their furniture, lighting, and dance floor went in, the whole night immediately felt intentional rather than improvised.
We didn’t need balloons or theatrics but for things to work, look decent, and survive a packed room. Make Believe handled the nuts-and-bolts logistics calmly, from layout flow to lighting that made dances feel like they could go on forever.
The vibe suited our fundraiser perfectly: unfussy, fun, but still clean and professional. No tables wobbled, the lighting didn’t flicker, and the dance floor held up even when the DJ broke out some tunes to bust a move to.
They’re not a design studio but more logistics heavyweights that can travel nationally for events. They only have a kit, not a proper showroom, but they can somehow turn a plain venue like ours into something that people usually forget holds yoga classes and table tennis sessions.
If there’s a downside, it’s that they’re not the best suited for bold themes, custom builds, or Instagram-first styling. They’re more about solid execution over creative flair, which may feel too practical for highly styled celebrations.

Everything looked exactly as we wanted
Make Believe Events did a wonderful job on our wedding decor. Everything looked exactly as we wanted, right down to the lanterns matching the bridesmaid’s colours perfectly. Communication was excellent and everything the whole process was faff-free!

Make Believe Events did all of our decor and made our venue look unreal
Make Believe Events did all of our decor and made our venue (S Luke’s) look unreal. We opted for their pair of cherry blossom trees, additional fairy lights in a canopy and round pillars, behind the stage and an LED love rocks sign, all of which complemented each other and made our venue look even better. We also had other decor pieces which beautifully complemented each other, and they brought my vision to life. Heathe, in particular, was a great help in answering any questions I had and giving tips for what would work best. Highly recommended!

4. Wish Upon A Star Kingdom

Wish Upon a Star Kingdom magically turned my toddler nephew’s second birthday from a room full of restless toddlers into something that actually worked. The soft play setup went down in minutes, and suddenly every child had somewhere safe and fun to climb, crawl, and fall over without drama.
What stood out was how little thinking we had to do once they arrived. The setup was clean, well-spaced and clearly designed by people who know how unpredictable two-year-olds can be.
There wasn’t anything chaotic or overstimulating about the soft play area, and everything felt bright and friendly. The parents ended up relaxing while the kids stayed busy, and for the first time, the birthday boy didn’t need a screen to stay entertained.
They’re focused squarely on kids’ parties and are best known as a specialist soft-play provider rather than a full styling studio. They also have hosts trained in first aid! Honestly, for this age group, that’s exactly what you’d want and need.
So yes, this is very much for toddlers and younger kids and won’t stretch to older children or mixed-age parties.

Thank you to the whole team for creating such a special experience
We visited Santa today, and I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was such a wonderful experience that I felt it deserved one. Santa and Holly the Elf did a fantastic job of making our visit truly memorable. We have been to several Santa grottos over the years, but this one offered great value for money and such a warm, genuine welcome from Santa and his elf. Thank you to the whole team for creating such a special experience for our family.

The host was lovely and checked in several times
We had our daughter’s 4th birthday party at Wish Upon a Star Kingdom, and we were really happy with them. All the kids had a great time, and the two princesses never broke character the entire time. The host was lovely and checked in several times to make sure we were happy with how everything was going. We also had a face painter, who did a fantastic job and made sure every child got a chance to have their face painted. Fantastic service and lovely staff.

LBS Event Design & Wedding Planners set the bar for me after seeing what they did for a colleague’s small garden wedding. The space didn’t look styled so much as gently elevated, like someone with very good taste had quietly been in charge all along.
It struck me how personal it felt without tipping into fussiness. The decor worked with their garden rather than fighting it: florals, table details, and layout all felt considered but never forced.
It was a romantic, elegant, and calm affair, which mattered more than anything for such an intimate wedding. The guests lingered, the photos looked effortless, and nothing felt like it was done just for show.
Even without a showroom experience, the couple got the result they wanted because the team showed a strong eye for detail. They’re a design-led studio instead of a logistics powerhouse, after all, and were able to transform the couple’s taste into something genuinely warm and memorable.
That said, if you’re planning a large, complex wedding with heavy logistics, you may need extra coordination support elsewhere. This approach is more suited to couples who value thoughtful styling and are comfortable investing time and budget into bespoke design.

She exceeded expectations for what I wanted
From the get-go, Pauline was amazing with us. Every time I had a question, she would come back straight away. She even came with me to one of my meetings with the hotel so they could visualise what I wanted, and she exceeded expectations for what I wanted. I can not fault Pauline; she went above and beyond for mine and Martyn’s special day, and we will forever be grateful for all her help in and around the wedding. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our rooms look amazing.

Pauline and her team did such an amazing job on our day
Pauline and her team did such an amazing job on our day. LBS Design supplied our chair covers, purple bows, white aisle runner, flower arch, plain white backdrop, “finally” sign, and sparkly white dance floor (the biggest hit of them all!!). Pauline was so accommodating to our wishes, and she did everything possible to ensure that she could be there for us, especially as we kept having to change our date due to Covid restrictions. Our guests were wowed by the beautiful design features, which really were one of the highlights of the day. Highly recommended, thank you!
