Stretch, Sweat, Repeat with the 5 Best Yoga Classes in Glasgow
I love my lessons at my fave Pilates studio, but sometimes I want a workout that lets me take proper, deep breaths. So I went hunting for the best yoga classes in Glasgow with welcoming vibes, flexible timetables, and pricing that isn’t a nasty surprise.
Don’t panic if you’re a complete beginner. Plenty of studios run Beginner Essentials or slow Hatha-style sessions that won’t throw you in pretzel mode from day one. For something more structured, there are 10-week evening courses.
There’s also hot yoga offering up to 45°C heat, deeper stretches, and a cardio hit that can’t be beat! Whatever your pace or preference may be, these yoga classes could very well be your next wellness reset.
How much does a yoga class in Glasgow cost?
Yoga classes in Glasgow typically cost £30 to £45 for an intro offer (3 to 5 classes), £12 to £20 for single drop-ins, £95 to £130 for a 10-class pack, and £75 to £105 for an unlimited monthly pass.
If you want something tailored, a 1-to-1 private session is usually £50 to £65 for personalised goals.
ClassPass can work well for yoga, and many top-rated studios accept it, so you can try different styles around the city on one membership.
1. The Kali Collective Yoga Studio, Glasgow

Business hours:
Monday to Friday, 6.45 AM–9 PM
Saturday, 8 AM–9 PM
Sunday, 9.45 AM–9 PM
I came into The Kali Collective as a Pilates regular looking for a gentler reset, and the studio made it easy for me to swap counting reps for counting breaths. The overall vibe I got was welcoming and teacher-led, so beginners don’t feel out of place.
Their menu is broad: Hot Vinyasa, Gentle, Yin, Aerial, plus Mat and Reformer Pilates. That means I could start restorative and still have the sweaty option for braver days!
Yin was the one I went for, as it meant long holds, less chatter, and that quiet stretch that creates space in both my body and my head. A little breathwork/meditation being woven in felt natural; it was more exhale and less performance.
I like its convenient location, too. It’s walkable from Central Station near the Kingston Bridge, and the practical touch of the studio being in a building with the door code sent via email (it felt secure and no-faff!).
For someone like me who’s trialling styles, I appreciated the value that went with the 2-week unlimited “New to Kali” classes at just £39. It permitted me to shop around the timetable without commitment anxiety.
That said, if you’re mainly here for Reformer, do note that it can sit outside some passes, so costs can climb if you’re mixing formats.
Emily was so welcoming and supportive
I visited Kali Collective Studio for the first time this weekend & it definitely won’t be the last. The space is gorgeous & so different to the (few) yoga studios I’ve been in before! We attended a private group yoga session, as a group of girls who haven’t met before & have next to no yoga experience. Emily was so welcoming and supportive, and planned the best session based on what I’d told her before we arrived! Can’t wait for the next one & I know all the girls feel the same.

Calm and stunning environment/atmosphere
Seriously, the best yoga studio in Glasgow. I’ve been to many yoga spots, but this one takes the cake for sure. Calm and stunning environment/atmosphere, and a lovely instructor too. Will be back!

After coming off a brutal month of a breakup and layoffs, my sister decided she wanted a proper retreat for her nervous system, not a sweaty bootcamp in leggings. Luckily, Yoga Meditation Healing in the West End offers precisely that.
They run scheduled Scottish Highlands wellness retreats, which are basically deep exhales with a beautiful view. Other classes include Beginner’s Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, Somatics, plus things like Sunday Sanctuary and Sound Baths.
It was calm, grounded, and led by senior teachers Pol and Paula, who have a strong therapeutic slant in their practice. It suited beginners like my stressed sister, who wants a genuinely restorative wellness reset that includes meditation and sound-based calm.
She found the rates refreshingly transparent, too: £13 for drop-in (£10 for concession), £44 for 4 classes, £80 for 8, and £95 for unlimited, plus £24 for Sunday Sanctuary should she need the full slow-and-soothing package.
However, it’s all quite west end, which is brilliant if you’re nearby, and less so if you’re trekking from the far Southside or out of town. Their booking rules are also strict, with non-refundable payments and a 6-hour cancellation window.
They are incredibly gentle and supportive
I have been attending weekly classes at Yoga Meditation Healing for over 6 months now, learning yoga under Pól and Paula’s guidance. They are incredibly gentle and supportive, all the while pushing their students towards deeper practice and understanding. I can’t recommend this studio enough – whether you need to leave the day behind and relax at the Yin classes or explore your limits at one of Pól’s Vinyasa classes, you’ll definitely find something for your soul and body!

Paula takes a genuine interest in her students
This is a friendly, welcoming studio catering to every level. I really enjoy Paula’s Yin yoga, somatic yoga and sound bath sessions. The combination of gentle, strengthening stretches and calming breathing exercises nourishes both the body and the mind! Paula takes a genuine interest in her students and gives clear instructions, modelling the yoga positions and offering alternatives, to either extend poses for the more experienced or simplify them to support beginners, like me. Highly recommend.

My bestie, being knee-deep in work but needing to de-stress, found herself gravitating towards Yoga Healing. It’s set up so she can roll her mat at home or her office, and still feel properly guided online.
It’s led by Anthea Simpson, and the whole tone leans mindful and therapeutic rather than shouty fitness. Since she wanted a genuine reset without committing to a fancy membership, the free 15-minute starter chat helped point her to the right class.
She wasn’t just stuck with one flavour class, either. Aside from online classes, there was Mindfulness Yoga, along with more personalised, therapy-style support in case she needed it. She liked that variety, especially since her work schedule changes weekly.
She loved that there was no commute involved, as her yoga studio is her living room. She just logs in, breathes, and gets clear cueing into a gentle reset.
The only downside she sees is that she sometimes misses the in-room buzz and hands-on adjustments of a physically present yoga instructor. She also admitted to needing a decent bit of space and self-discipline to stick with it.
I’ve had a wonderful few weeks attending Anthea’s yoga classes
I’ve had a wonderful few weeks attending Anthea’s yoga classes in the lovely surroundings of Partickhill Bowling Club. Anthea is not only an excellent practitioner of yoga but a kind and encouraging teacher. The 75 minutes of each class passed in a trice, and left me feeling simultaneously energised and relaxed. Thank you, Anthea, for the gift of your considerable expertise.

This beginner’s class is ideal for those who need a gentle flow
I’m excited to be returning to this class. I benefited so much from my first 6-week course. This beginner’s class is ideal for those who need a gentle flow. It builds week by week, until you have learnt a lot of poses. Anthea is an excellent, experienced and very friendly teacher, and I highly recommend this course.

Saturday, 6.30 AM–1 PM
Sunday, 8 AM–7.30 PM
I usually recommend Hotpod Yoga to anyone who wants heat with a bit of mood (the good kind). The pod sits at a comfy 37°C, and the whole setup—with calming scents, soft lighting, and curated playlists—feels like a little spa cave where you can do a Warrior pose.
Class-wise, it’s really all about hot yoga, but with different gears. There’s the steady, beginner-friendly Nurturing/Foundation vibes and the stronger Hotpod Flow, plus Dynamic Flow for people who like a challenge.
I’ve tried their yoga for runners class when I’m due for a race. There’s also a handy Rest & Restore class for when I feel like having an “off button,” with long holds, breathwork, and Yoga Nidra-style downshifting.
It’s pretty easy to try without commitment, with 10 days unlimited for just £18. After that, you’re looking to pay £14 for a drop-in, £100 for a 10-class pack, or around £84 for a month for unlimited (if you’re going at least 3 times a week).
The location is walkable from Glasgow Central, and they even tell me where to park and how the building access code works. I just try not to cut it fine for classes; doors lock when a class starts, and they’re strict about not letting latecomers in.
Hot Pod Yoga is my favourite place to be
Hot Pod Yoga is my favourite place to be. There is a range of different classes at all different times of the day, from early morning to late at night. There are different teachers daily, which is amazing as it keeps things interesting, as no two classes are identical, allowing you to expand your practice and learn from differing yoga backgrounds !! The heat and mood lighting create the safest place to practice. I come if happy or sad, and I always leave feeling so much better, especially when stressed. Can’t thank or recommend HPY Glasgow enough!

I felt super comfortable
This was just exactly what the doctor ordered. Having severe anxiety, I felt super comfortable, found it easily, and the instructor was so friendly and kind on arrival. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting something nice and calming!

5. Reset Yoga & Reformer Pilates Glasgow

Address: Urban Office, 101 Portman St, Kinning Park

Business hours:
Monday to Friday, 7 AM–8.30 PM
Saturday, 7.30 AM–8.30 PM
Sunday, 8 AM–8.30 PM
I went to Reset Yoga & Reformer Pilates in Kinning Park because I wanted one place that teaches strength, softness, and space. I wasn’t looking to get three different memberships and a spreadsheet to follow for my routine.
This studio does the holy trinity: Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Reformer Pilates under one roof. Stepping in didn’t feel performative, and I genuinely felt that all bodies were welcome into the space.
I liked that Reformer Pilates was intentionally small with five reformers, so I got real attention instead of being Reformered into the void. I can also keep it gentle with slower-paced, all-levels yoga, or melt into Candlelit Yin for that deep, quiet stretch.
For commitment-phobes and routine-lovers alike, the pricing is reasonable. It’s £45 for 3 classes (including yoga, mat, and reformer), or Unlimited Mat Only for £75 for a month to test-drive the studio.
That said, Reformer is the pricey favourite at £26 for a single class, or £120 for a 5-pack bundle. Also, because the reformer classes are kept small, it can feel extra competitive if you book at the last minute.
The space is so warm and inviting
Reset Yoga and Reformer Pilates is the best studio in Glasgow! Having recently returned to Glasgow from a 12-year stint in Australia, I spent time trying out all the studios in my area, stumbling across Reset after a few weeks. The space is so warm and inviting, with lots of amazing little touches, giving it that ‘wow’ factor. The class schedule means that there are classes to suit all abilities, and the addition of an intermediate option means that I can really feel challenged. Rach, Nola and the team have made me feel so welcome, and the instructors are the best!

Every single detail is just really special
Reset is truly the most incredible studio. The community, the classes, the teachers, the space – every single detail is just really special. It offers classes to cater for all levels, and it feels like a home away from home. I’ve been going to Reset for 4 years now, and it still feels just as magical now as it did back when I started. From spicy pre-work Pilates to cosy yin at night, there’s something for everyone. Thank you, team Reset, for building the community you have.
