The Best Team Building Spots in Glasgow Taking the Bored Out of the Boardroom
I’ve been lucky to enjoy some seriously fun team-building activities over the years—whether it’s escape rooms, cooking classes, or laser tag.
Beyond fun, these activities help folks communicate better, work together like clockwork, and build trust. They’re a great way to blow off steam and keep everyone motivated.
If you’re a team leader or just someone looking to shake things up with your work pals, I’ve pulled together some fun team-building ideas in Glasgow. Let’s give your team your much-needed fun time!

Escape room centres have been a cracking choice for team-building activities throughout my career. Can’t blame the bosses, though; they’re always fun with workmates!
Locked In Escape Room is one worth considering. It’s right in the city centre, so it’s easy to get to. With seven rooms on offer, it’s a decent pick for repeat team-building sessions.
I’ve played here a couple of times, and my favourite has got to be The Surgery. It has some brilliant mechanics, like using medical equipment and UV light to crack the puzzles.
Pro tip: If you’ve got a team of more than eight, it’s best to book a few rooms at once. Just drop them an email at [email protected], and they’ll sort you out.
Play laser tag at Laser Quest

Contact details: +44 330 122 2205
Operating hours:
3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (MON-FRI)
10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (SAT and SUN)
Price:
1 game – £8.00 per person
2 games – £15.00 per person
3 games – £20.00 per person
Laser Quest is a belter of a spot if you’re looking for fast-paced fun with your work pals. It’s down on Portman Street, so it’s easy enough to get to, especially after a long day at work.
A huge reason why I recommend this spot is their massive arena. It’s got fog swirling about, neon lights, and tunes that make you feel like you’re in the middle of a sci-fi film. The whole setup is just pure class!
What’s also good with laser tag is that it’s all about safe, clean fun. You get kitted out with a vest and laser, and then it’s all about zapping your pals while dodging their shots. The best part? There’s none of the mess you’d get with paintball or airsoft.
Pro tip: You and your pals can save money by booking your games between Monday and Thursday. Use the code PARTY10 on their booking platform, and you’ll get a 10% discount on your games!
Join a musical walking tour with Silent Adventures
Website: https://silentadventures.co.uk/
Address: Katie’s Bar, 17 John St
Price: £18.50 per person
One of the more unique team-building activities I’ve done was with Silent Adventures. The whole idea is like a silent disco, but you’re out and about, dancing your way through the streets of Glasgow with your pals.
How’s that possible? Well, we put on these fancy Bluetooth headsets, and suddenly we’re in our own musical world. Our hosts were brilliant as they kept the energy up and shared fun facts about the city as we went along.
It was absolutely hilarious and a proper thrill. My colleagues and I couldn’t stop laughing as we busted out our dodgy dance moves. The poor folk passing by didn’t know what to make of us!
Pro tip: If you’re keen on the silent disco experience but don’t fancy the walking tour, Silent Adventures can rent you the headsets for your own event. You can hire up to 200 headphones, which is a great shout for a party or gathering.

12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM (SAT)
12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (SUN)
Price: £20 per person
Learning something new together is a great way to build rapport, so why not try skating with your team? I find RollerStop CIC, over on Middlesex Street in the South Side, to be a good spot for it.
It has a proper retro vibe with disco lights and upbeat tunes. What makes it even better is their adult skating lessons, which are ideal if, like me, you’re more of a Bambi-on-ice type.
Another good thing is that the lessons are only an hour long, so they’re easy to squeeze in after work. Plus, your entry fee covers rental skates and protective gear, so it’s cheap as chips.
Pro tip: For an extra bit of fun, check out their themed skating events. Every Saturday is disco night, and on some other days, they mix it up with other genres like hip-hop or rock. Definitely worth a try!

For a proper adrenaline-filled team-building session, TeamSport Go Karting is a good place to consider. It’s just over in Cambuslang (there’s one in Clydebank too), and it’s got Scotland’s longest indoor go-kart track.
The 450-metre multi-level track is quite an exhilarating experience, as it has ramps, straights, and tight corners to keep you on your toes. Even as a go-kart enthusiast, I still get a buzz every time I race here.
It’s spot-on for both planned and impromptu team-building sessions. Their Corporate Go-Karting events give you exclusive track access, a safety briefing, and even trophies for the winners.
Pro tip: If you’re heading there with your workmates on the fly, you can use the code GET20 at checkout to bag yourself a handy 20% discount. It’s a solid deal!

11:00 AM – 10:00 PM (SUN)
Price:
Off-peak hours (SUN-THURS) – £12.50 per person
Peak hours (FRI and SAT) – £18 per person
Golf Fang is a proper spot if you’re after something a bit different for team building. It’s good for both spur-of-the-moment sessions and bigger corporate events, as they can cater for up to 400 folks.
The highlight is definitely their 18-hole course with quirky designs and obstacles that can make your mini golf sessions a lot more exciting. They’ve even got interactive AR darts for a bit of variety.
I still remember heading here with my old workmates for a night out, and we had an absolute laugh trying to outdo each other. I was hopeless at first, but managed a hole-in-one near the end. Still dining out on that story, truth be told.
Pro tip: You can enjoy relaxing drinks between your golf games here by going for their Golf & A Drink promo, which only costs £20.00 a head. And if you’re feeling peckish, there’s the Golf, A Drink & Food deal for £28.00 per person.
Play retro video games at R-CADE
Website: https://www.rcadeglasgow.com/
Address: 121 Saltmarket
Operating hours:
12:00 PM – 10:00 PM (THURS-SAT)
12:00 PM – 7:00 PM (SUN)
Price: £10 per person
R-CADE is a good spot if you fancy a trip down memory lane with your workmates. This place is packed with retro consoles, and with more than 2,000 games to choose from, you could easily spend hours here.
Some iconic consoles you can try here are the original Xbox, the PlayStation 2, and the classic Nintendo 64. There’s even a cafe with a stack of tabletop games, so you can switch things up if you fancy.
Another good reason why R-CADE is good for team building is their private bookings. You can rent out the arcade or even the whole venue, and they sort you out with perks like discounts at the local pizza place, Nonna Said.
Pro tip: Download Spaces by Wix on either the App Store or the Play Store and use the code QACSS0 to join R-CADE’s platform. It’s handy for managing bookings, tracking loyalty points, and planning future team-building sessions.
Play football in a bubble at Bubble Soccer Scotland

Website: https://www.bubblesoccerscotland.co.uk/activities-glasgowcentre.php
Address: 33 Scotland St, Kinning Park
Contact details: +44 800 689 3081
Operating hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (MON-SUN)
Price (for bubble football):
1-hour game – £25 per person
90-minute game – £27.50 per person
2-hour game – £30 per person
If you’re after a team-building activity that’s pure chaos and a right laugh, bubble football at Bubble Soccer Scotland is a good option. It’s pretty much your usual football match, only this time you’ll be bouncing about in inflatable zorbs.
It’s absolutely hilarious! I tried it with my pals once, and we couldn’t stop laughing at how daft we looked. By the end of our match, we barely scored any points, but we had a ton of funny photos that serve as a great reminder of this fun activity.
They’ve also got goggle football, which messes with your vision, so even kicking the ball is a challenge. And if you’re up for something with a bit more adrenaline, they’ve got combat archery, where you and your pals will be using bows and foam arrows.
Pro tip: You can rent their equipment if you’re planning a corporate event somewhere else in Glasgow. Just drop your details on this website, and their team will be in touch to sort you out.
