I’ve started to notice my family home showing its age, and nowhere more than in the kitchen. It’s a place full of good memories, especially cooking with my mum, but the worn cupboards and dated layout were starting to get in the way.
I decided it was time for a revamp, so I hired a kitchen renovation company to give the space a fresh start. The transformation has been incredible, bringing a modern look and the clean, safe feel it badly needed.
After such a good experience, I felt inspired to share my picks for the best kitchen renovation companies in Glasgow.

Glasgow Kitchen & Bathroom Centre has been fitting kitchens for more than 20 years from their base in Hillington Park. What I noticed straight away is how they handle everything themselves, from measuring up to the final install, which makes life easier if you don’t want to juggle trades.
They stick to British-made kitchens, and the styles cover both modern and traditional tastes. Their free room planning is a real plus since they visit your home, take measurements, and give you 3D visuals so you can picture the result.
They back their work with a 1-year guarantee, with manufacturer warranties on appliances adding extra cover, and they offer finance if you qualify.
On the downside, they sometimes don’t respond to enquiries, and a few jobs have run over schedule, with fitters returning several times rather than completing everything in one visit.

Another highly experienced kitchen renovator I recommend is Reface Scotland. They specialise in replacing doors, drawer fronts, panels, and worktops while keeping solid cabinets in place, which can save a fair bit compared to starting from scratch.
I like that they offer a free home design visit and have showrooms in Hillington and Rutherglen if you want to see styles in person. They even make an effort with sustainability by reusing old materials where possible and by using wood sourced from PEFC- and FSC-accredited forests.
It’s also good that they offer supply-only for DIY or trade jobs, and there are finance options, including interest-free credit.
That said, it’s disappointing to hear that they sometimes fail to show up for appointments and that some clients have experienced rude behaviour from staff.

I chose PJTC to renovate our kitchen and give it a fresh, modern look. I felt confident hiring them because they have close to ten years of experience and are members of the Federation of Master Builders.
The free consultation was a real help in getting started and made it easy to talk through ideas. They ended up replacing almost everything in the kitchen, from the cabinets and worktops to the flooring, tiling, and plumbing.
When the job was finished, it came with a 1-year workmanship guarantee, and they offered me the option of a 10-year warranty for a small extra cost. I took it for peace of mind.
The only hiccup was having to book a fair bit in advance since they’re in demand, and the 25% deposit was something I hadn’t expected, so it’s worth planning for that.

Ultimate Home Solutions has been around since 2013 and has fitted hundreds of kitchens across Glasgow. What I admire about them is their thoroughness, with every renovation starting with a free home design visit and following up with a 3D visualisation so you can see exactly how your new kitchen will look.
They also have a sizable showroom in Renfrew if you’re interested in seeing their kitchen styles in person, although it’s a bit of a trip if you live in the east.
Another thing I like is they offer a free cooker upgrade with every kitchen renovation, which is a handy wee bonus. Finance is also available through FCA-regulated plans, including interest-free credit and Buy Now, Pay Later.
The only snag is they don’t have a fixed warranty policy, so you’ll need to book an appointment to know how they’ll guarantee your new kitchen.

Kitchens in Colour has over 20 years of experience in kitchen renovations and is a Masterclass Kitchens Platinum Partner. This means they have priority access to the full Masterclass range, which is a real advantage if you like that brand.
They’re flexible when it comes to style, offering modern, shaker, handleless, and painted kitchens. Their warranties cover three years on all frontages and decor, 10 years for cabinets, and a lifetime for hinges and drawer runners. It’s a bit of a bummer, though, that they don’t provide a specific workmanship warranty.
On the upside, I like that they offer free in-showroom consultations, so you can talk about your ideas without feeling pressured to commit. However, their showroom is a bit far if you live in the eastern neighbourhoods of Glasgow.
