I finally decided it was time to call in a bathroom renovation company to give it the glow-up it deserved. The results were brilliant, and my bathroom now makes my morning showers a lot more pleasant than they were before.

They’re one of my go-to recommendations because they take care of everything, from removing the old suite to sorting the plumbing, electrics, tiling, and fitting the new bath.
They also handle wet rooms and en-suites, which is worth remembering if you’re after something a bit different.
It’s worth pointing out that being members of the Federation of Master Builders means there’s a credible body vouching for their standards, and they include a 1-year workmanship guarantee with every job.
If you want extra peace of mind, you can pay for a warranty that runs from 2 to 10 years. Consultations are free, so you can get advice before making a decision.
The two downsides are that they’re in high demand, and they ask for a 25% deposit before starting work.

If you like a bit of extra value, Ultimate Home Solutions is worth checking out. They’ve been in business for more than ten years and offer free in-home consultations with 3D visualisation, which lets you see exactly how your new bathroom might look before committing.
From time to time, they throw in free extras such as Bluetooth mirrors and heated towel rails! It also helps that they have finance options, so you can divide the cost into more manageable payments.
On the flip side, their warranty terms aren’t clearly set out, which means the level of cover can vary. Also, their showroom is in Renfrew, so if you live in the east, it can be a bit of a trek if you want to view products in person.

Custom Bathrooms has been around for almost a decade and can handle full bathroom renovations, including plumbing, tiling, electrics and joinery. You won’t have to chase different tradesmen if you hire them.
They also help with bathroom design and offer free quotes to make it easier to get started. It’s also nice that they provide a five-year workmanship guarantee, which is longer than what most of their competitors offer.
But if you’re more into DIY or already have a fitter lined up, their online store has a decent range of bathroom furniture and fixtures. You’ll find things like toilets and showers, and they offer free delivery on orders over £695.
Just keep in mind they tend to book out six to eight weeks ahead, and they don’t operate on weekends, so planning is key.

Since affordability was my main concern when I renovated my bathroom, I chose Forazzi Bathrooms. They took care of everything from the design stage to the final fitting, which made the whole process much less stressful.
I liked that the deposit was only £495, far less than many others ask for, and that the balance was only due once I was happy with the work.
Through their partnerships with Porcelanosa and Scope Bathroom Interiors, I managed to get up to 45% off materials, which was a real bonus! They also gave me a two-year workmanship guarantee on top of manufacturer warranties, which is nice.
My only major gripe is that they only provide quotes on weekdays, so you won’t get through on a weekend. They also don’t have their own showroom, which can be a downside if you want to see sample fittings and suites in person.

With over 20 years in the trade, Wholesale Bathrooms is one of the most established bathroom renovators I’ve included on this list. They work much like the other companies I’ve mentioned and can handle every step of bathroom renovation.
One thing that stands out is their free design service, so it’s easy to see what they can offer to the table. It’s also impressive that their fitted bathroom packages start at around £3,995, which is a solid price.
I also like that you only pay once you’re happy with the final result. They have finance options too, which can help if you need more flexibility with payment.
The main drawback is that their package model limits customisation. You can choose your wet wall panels and flooring, but beyond that, options are fairly limited. If you’re after something more bespoke, this setup might feel a bit restrictive.
