1. Sauchiehall Barbers

Address: 1/2 281 Sauchiehall Street
Contact: 0141 332 0900 | [email protected]
Hours:

- Tuesday: 9:15 AM – 5:00 PM

Established in 2001, Sauchiehall Barbers is a city centre shop made up of self-employed stylists. They handle everything from classic trims to full restyles with serious precision.
The barbers here are fantastic, as they provide incredibly practical styling advice without trying to hard-sell any expensive products.
Another perk is that you can easily walk in or book a reservation online without paying any sneaky booking fees.
But because they operate with a smaller team of independent contractors, you might experience long delays if you walk in during the downtown rush. Their schedules can also vary, so your favourite barber might not always be available.

Top barbershop experience with drinks
One of the best barbershop experiences I’ve had. Walk in, get offered a fine whiskey or a beer and then get to chat to a great lad (my case Louis). The plus point on top of the whiskey is that they actually know what they’re doing – and will you through it. Vibes and music are immaculate. And to round it off, a price of around 35£ – it doesn’t get better than that. Make sure you’ve got an appointment here!

Genuine care and high skill
Hands down worth every penny spent when getting my hair cut here. Louis has bundles of experience for such a young age and shows genuine care and passion into every haircut he has given me. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for the all around hospitality and experience of a barbershop. Keep at it troops.

If you’re looking for a place that takes hygiene and punctuality seriously, Beardy Beardy should be on your radar. They always use freshly sanitised tools for every single client.
They focus on completely tailored grooming rather than standard template cuts. You can go for a beard fade or a buzz cut, and they deliver properly.
They have seasoned and apprentice barbers. If you want to save money, you can book a junior stylist for a more affordable rate.
You can easily reserve your slot online and pay with either cash or card, which lets you skip the usual pre-haircut ATM hunt.
Just make sure you keep an eye on the clock before your appointment since they enforce an incredibly strict lateness and cancellation policy. If you show up late, you’ll have to pay the full price of the missed cut.

Each sip of these delightful concoctions added an extra layer of extravagance to the experience, ensuring that every moment spent at Beardy Beardy was one of pure indulgence.

5. Fratelli Barbershop

Website: https://fratellibarbers.co.uk/
Address: 6 Dowanhill St, Partick
Contact: 07949 423963
Hours: Tuesday to Friday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Saturday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
If you’re searching for authentic Italian grooming heritage in Glasgow, Fratelli Barbershop is worth a visit. They blend old-world techniques with modern flair for haircuts tailored to you.
They’re an award-winning team that provides customised personal styling based on your face shape, rather than just giving you a generic template cut.
They’re also located near Kelvinhall subway station, which makes commuting a breeze. This spot allows you to drop in for a sharp cut whether you’re coming from the city centre or just across town.
The catch is that their Saturday availability is quite short, as they close at 4:00 PM. Plus, if you try to walk in without an appointment, you risk long waits or being turned away if their chairs are fully booked.

Friendly barber and high quality
Fantastic barbershop, Shelley, who is my barber is friendly and easy to have a chat with. She has never failed to deliver a high quality haircut, really being able to understand and deliver on what I want for my hair, and is especially good for those who are unsure or less confident about their hair like myself, always going the extra mile by offering tips and advice on how I could change my haircut or use products to improve my hair, I couldn’t recommend her more ! 🙂

An absolute genie with scissors
The best barber around. It can be hard to find a hair stylist/ barber who understands how to cut your hair. Jonathan is an absolute genie with a pair of scissors and a gentleman. Lovely shop too.
