5 Best Office Cleaning Firms in Glasgow for Pristine Workplaces

  • Office-specific experience - We picked firms that understand hybrid offices, hot desks, meeting rooms, shared kitchens, and rushes, not just generic cleaning.
  • Smart, trackable cleaning - QR code check-ins, real-time updates, and occupancy-led schedules are big pluses because they show the work is actually being done where it matters.
  • Greener, reportable practices - Eco-certified products, waste-weighing, and proper sustainability reporting matter, especially for offices with ESG goals to prove.
  • Accreditations and staff standards - CHAS, SafeContractor, or BICSs credentials help, but we also check on staff welfare because fairly treated cleaners usually mean more consistent cleaning.

I still remember when office cleaning used to mean shiny floors and bins emptied before Monday. Now, in Glasgow’s hybrid work era, I want cleaners who know their hot desks from their boardrooms.

There are excellent regular cleaning services in Glasgow, but I need a specialised team that adapts to occupancy, high-touch zones, shared hubs, and the mysterious coffee spill that appears every team meeting.

So, for this review, I focused on the best office cleaning firms in Glasgow and looked for those that can keep a modern office fresh without treating it like someone’s living room (with printers).

How much does office cleaning in Glasgow cost?

Office cleaning in Glasgow usually starts at £17 to £21 per hour for standard daily upkeep tasks like bins, dusting, vacuuming, and desks.

Deep or sanitisation cleans cost around £25 to £35 per hour, while medical-grade cleaning for clinics or labs sits higher at £30 to £45 per hour.

Window or exterior cleaning is often charged per visit, typically £80 to £200 or more, depending on height and access.

Do note that there’s occupancy-based billing available, where monthly bills adjust by over or under 10% based on actual office foot traffic.

1. Ocean Cleaning

ocean-cleaning

Address: 48 W George St

Contact: +441413452448

Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

Website

Ocean Cleaning makes sense for our gallery building because they’re already geared for communal areas, lobbies, corridors, and common parts like lounges and lifts. That matters to us, as the first thing our guests, artists, and collectors see is the lobby, not the art.

I like that they cover both office and communal cleaning, with online booking and live, progress-style updates mentioned on their channel. It feels practical for buildings like ours, where shared spaces need checking without chasing someone by phone.

They also talk up professional sanitisation, product and equipment know-how, and flexible service. These all suit our reception-heavy building, which has a steady foot traffic for our gallery, and the retail and F&B shops that are our neighbours.

I’d recommend them to small offices, galleries, shops, and shared commercial buildings that need tidy common areas without the drama. Hot offices can also benefit from their high-spec communal cleaning specialisation.

That said, they don’t openly advertise or proclaim major accreditation badges like CHAS, SafeContractor, or BICSs. They also only have regular office hours, so emergency or weekend cleaning may be off the table.

Pros

  • Strong fit for communal area cleaning
  • Offers online booking
  • Uses GPS/software updates
  • Versatile coverage (offices, communal areas, Airbnb, etc.)

Cons

  • No fixed, public pricing, so quotes are a must
  • No obvious major accreditations found

She gets the work done efficiently

Ocean cleaning in general has been really great and reliable. I have been using the company for about 2 years now! But I have to give a special shoutout to Rita; her cleaning has been incredible, and we always look forward to her coming! She gets the work done efficiently and is very professional. Rita is very thorough with her work and does a really professional clean! We look forward to having Rita back!

Extremely thorough and professional

Sharon is brilliant. She has been cleaning our office for a few months now, and we just love having her in. She is always smiling, extremely thorough and professional. Our office always looks amazing after she has left.

2. Dublcheck Cleaning Glasgow

Dublcheck Cleaning Glasgow ended up being a tidy fit for my pal’s workplace since they do more than wipe down desks. Aside from office cleaning, they also do common area maintenance, floor care, and restroom sanitisation.

My friend says it helps because most of the other cleaners he tried treat stairwells and storage rooms as “someone else’s problem”. The wider Dublcheck setup also handles commercial sites like retail and car showrooms.

That breadth suits offices needing windows, blinds, upholstery, carpets, and forgotten corners handled under one contract. Since his office is old, it really helps that the team can get to the neglected nooks and crannies, so everything looks and smells fresh.

He also likes that they offer bespoke routines, flexible daily/weekly/custom schedules, have a trained staff, and use quality products and biodegradable chemicals. It ticks his office-specific and greener-practice boxes without having to build a cleaning schedule from scratch.

He now recommends them to other office managers who want one comprehensive cleaner for front-of-house, staff areas, washrooms, floors, and periodic deep work. He reckons they’re a good fit for medium-sized workplaces that need cleaning consistency.

But because they cover such a wide range of cleaning tasks, specialist add-ons like blinds, upholstery, or high-access windows may need clearer scoping so nothing gets assumed (and not included).

Pros

  • Handles office cleaning and overlooked areas
  • Offers bespoke cleaning schedules
  • Uses biodegradable chemicals

Cons

  • Best suited to planned contracts
  • Specialist extras may need very clear scoping beforehand

Very cooperative and nice people to work with

Amazing company. I wasn’t totally happy about a certain thing, and they came back with a smile, no questions asked, and the recleaned for me without charge. Very cooperative and nice people to work with. They bring their humanity with them when they come and treat customers with respect, and that’s very important. Totally recommend.

Not only an amazing company, but thoughtful people

Aka is absolutely wonderful. Not only an amazing company, but thoughtful people. 10 out of 10, or maybe 100 out of 10. Very highly recommended!

My cousin has a hot-desk space with odd hours, so Neatify Glasgow was a good fit for his office cleaning needs. It helps that they focus on commercial office cleaning, with services covering desks, shared workspaces, kitchens, receptions, washrooms, floors, internal glass, and high-touch disinfection.

The big win for him is the flexibility. They can do out-of-hours, evening, and weekend cleaning, which is exactly what a rotating hot-desk setup needs.

They also offer daily, weekly, deep, one-off, flexi, move-in, and move-out office cleans. He loves that their schedules can match his actual office traffic.

It’s worth mentioning that they also bring their own cleaning materials and supplies, with sanitising and deep-cleaning options for shared desks and busy communal zones.

He now recommends Neatify to small studios, city-centre offices, co-working spaces, and hybrid teams that need cleaning around people (not through them).

The catch is that the company currently doesn’t offer any cleaning promos or discounts, and cannot be booked via an app, unlike others. Public pricing also goes up to £50 per hour, so they do cost more than basic office cleaners, especially for frequent weekend cover.

Pros

  • Offers out-of-hours, weekends, and evening cleaning
  • Covers high-touch disinfection for shared zones
  • Provides more than routine contracts
  • Brings their own cleaning materials and supplies

Cons

  • Not the cheapest
  • Better for flexible office cleaning than heavily regulated corporate sites

Since we host several artists’ receptions within a month (and they can get rowdy, believe me!), my gallery often calls on Glasgow Cleaning Specialists to clean up the mess of wine glasses on every imaginable surface, and stains that could make Pollock blush.

They specifically list after-party cleaning, along with deep, one-off, move-in/move-out, after-builders, and carpet cleaning. For our gallery workplace, that range is handy because an event mess is rarely just one kind of mess.

From experience, the team can handle bins, sticky floors, washrooms, reception areas, and the mysterious trails we typically find going from the lobby to the stairwell.

We like that they offer a free estimate, so they can scope the cleaning needed before we commit to paying them. My boss now recommends them to other galleries, party venues, studios, and small offices that host launches, client nights, or staff socials.

However, for general office contracts, I would make sure to ask for the specifics of what they can handle, as they seem to lean more on domestic-type and specialised add-on cleaning.

Pros

  • Offers after-party cleaning
  • Covers one-off, deep, after-builders, move-in/out, and carpet cleaning
  • Provides a free estimate

Cons

  • Not entirely focused on office cleaning
  • No QR tracking promoted

The cleaning was done to a high standard

The cleaner arrived on time, was friendly and professional. Had a 5-hour deep clean done on a 2-bed house to prepare for sale after moving out – the clean was done to a high standard. I’m really happy with the finished job. Price was reasonable also – would recommend, thanks again.

The cleaners did a great job!

Very impressed with this company. The cleaners did a great job! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

His&Hers Cleaning Company caught my bestie’s attention because they handle regular cleaning, deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy, commercial cleaning, and communal close cleaning.

Since she’s the office manager for a bunch of suites in a commercial building, their menu of services fills the bill. She handles offices with communal spaces with shared entrances and common areas, so she needed help with cleaning the bits that everyone in the building uses.

From the get-go, she likes how they position themselves as both affordable and flexible. Sometimes, her office needs weekly upkeep, and at other times, the communal spaces require deeper resets, especially after product launches and building lobby socials.

She now raves about His&Hers to other managers who handle small offices, shared buildings, landlords, and local businesses that want practical cleaning minus the corporate faff.

That said, there aren’t any cleaning packages, promos or discounts, or app booking to make scheduling and budgeting a bit easier. She also advises asking upfront about supplies and how they track repeat cleaning quality before booking.

Pros

  • Handy for shared commercial spaces
  • Good fit for small offices needing practical upkeep
  • Flexible scheduling

Cons

  • No fixed rates
  • No obvious QR logs or app-tracking

His and Hers Cleaning Company (Lucas & Jane) have always provided me with an excellent standard of service. They always arrive on time, work professionally, provide their own cleaning products, vacuum, etc., and they get the job done perfectly every time. They are a very reliable team and will always manage to fit me in, even at very short notice. I highly recommend them.
